Sequence Health to Exhibit at Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery’s 2017 Annual Meeting

Will Demonstrate How Its Healthcare SaaS Platform, Sequence, Can Manage Bariatric Patients Through the Entire Surgery and Postoperative Process

ATLANTA and DALLAS, Jan. 9, 2017—Sequence Health today announced it will be an exhibitor at the Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery’s 2017 Annual Meeting in Dallas, January 27–28.

The healthcare technology company will showcase its healthcare SaaS platform, Sequence, which enables healthcare providers to efficiently manage bariatric patients through the entire surgery and postoperative process. Sequence Health members will host a table in the Exhibit Hall at the Hilton Anatole Dallas from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. CT on Friday, January 27 and 5:30–6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, January 28.

The Texas Association for Bariatric Surgery (TABS) is the state’s chapter of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

“This is the first time we have exhibited at the TABS’ annual meeting,” said Sequence Health Director of Marketing Kris Altiere. “We are looking forward to meeting and learning from the numerous professionals that make the Texas bariatric community so vital, which, along with the surgeons, also includes nurses, bariatric coordinators, dieticians, clinicians and so many others.”
Altiere said the importance of being able to properly manage bariatric surgery patients is becoming more challenging for bariatric hospitals and clinics because of the steady rise in the number of surgeries to treat obesity. “According to the ASMBS, there were 196,000 total bariatric procedures in 2015—a figure that has grown from 158,000 in 2011,” said Altiere. “Attending TABS 2017 will be a prime opportunity learn about its members’ ideas for improving obesity treatments and bariatric patient outcomes.”
